The large private gardens and orchard are bordered by trees, with views of open countryside to the west. Our pond area is securely fenced from the little ones, but is also a beautiful and tranquil area in which to escape, relax in the garden swing and enjoy a glass of wine ( or three ). You can even swing with company, try out the double hammock for size. For obvious reasons, children are not allowed in the pond area.
Outside on the large patio area attached to the house, you can dine, cook on the barbeque, or simply put your feet up...and relax. An eight seater table and chairs is on the patio for your comfort. We have a multitude of visiting garden birds, woodpeckers, red squirrels, hedgehogs, our resident moorhens and frogs, and any passing mallards on their way to the lake adjoining our gardens. At night, you may even see the bats circling around.
We have ample parking areas, and can even offer free garage parking facilities. For visiting motorcylists, our large sous-sol area is well equiped with a vast assortment of tools ( including a bike lift for those running repairs ) to hopefully keep you mobile, power wash facilities, and loads of secure garage space to keep your prize possessions indoors. We can even offer you a post -home service for your laundry if required. |
